The Senior Trip Planning Committee has reached a decision. The Seniors will be taking a bus to Faneuil Hall in the morning for shopping and lunch. Then we will venture off to a new world at New England Aquarium and see a captivating IMAX presentation. To conclude the day there will be a dinner cruise on the Spirit of Boston with a sunset backdrop. It will be beautiful.  What a great way to end the senior year. All of our hard work will be done with and we can have a fun and relaxing day. Remember the date, May 31, 2012, just a couple of days before graduation.
I do not know about everyone else, but I am very excited for this trip. As you walk down Faneuil Hall you may be overwhelmed by all that it has to offer. There are fourteen different restaurants and thirty-five different food stalls for all food lovers out there. You can try numerous delicacies from all sorts of cultures. Don’t feel like eating while you are there? Well you can walk outside to explore all different kinds of entertainment that is bound to catch your attention. Starting from clowns and magicians to mimes and acrobats. There is so much to explore at Faneuil Hall, and you will not leave without a smile on your face. However, the smiling will not stop there because the New England Aquarium and IMAX theater is just around the corner.

Have you ever been to the New England Aquarium? Whether it is a yes or a no, you are going to be astonished by the amazing sea creatures and exhibits there. Just imagine coming up to a tank to find a 20-foot octopus. Granted it is not as large as the Kracken from Pirates of the Caribbean, but it is a truly amazing creature to look at. Ever seen a leafy seadragon? You have to see it to believe it. It is a type of seahorse with a leafy, dragon-like appearance that will blow your mind when you see them.  At the IMAX you will almost fall out of your seat watching a deep, captivating presentation about sharks, the most exotic and isolated locations under the sea, or wild animals from all over the world. All of which are in 3-D, but the fun does not stop there. To conclude the day of adventures and pure joy is a dinner cruise on The Spirit of Boston.

At this point you must be exhausted from all the glee and laughter, and you will probably want to relax and eat. There will be a food buffet and open juice and soda bar available Spirit of Boston, which will bring us through Boston Harbor at sunset. To top it off there will be a DJ to play music for us as we dance through the night.  While we are dancing the night away and eating to our hearts desire we will enjoy a view of Boston that we have never seen before. A great way to end the day don’t you think?
This is going to be a spectacular trip and I cannot wait to share it with all of you. I hope you can all make it. Also, some important dates you need to know is by November 28, if you plan on going on this trip you need to pay $50, and by December 19 you need to pay $30.
